DUMPT LLC Dumpster Rental Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to dumpster rentals provided by DUMPT LLC. By submitting an order, checking the agreement box, paying for a rental, accepting delivery or using the dumpster, the customer agrees to these terms.

1. Rental Packages

Standard rental packages include delivery, pickup, five calendar days and the following disposal-weight allowance:

  • 10-yard dumpster: $525 with 1 ton included

  • 15-yard dumpster: $675 with 1.5 tons included

  • 20-yard dumpster: $775 with 2 tons included

The price displayed during checkout or provided in a written quote controls. Delivery outside DUMPT LLC’s standard service area may require an additional charge, which will be disclosed before the order is confirmed.

2. Rental Period

The delivery date counts as the first rental day. Standard rentals include five calendar days.

Additional time is charged at $25 per day and requires approval based on dumpster availability.

Additional-day charges will not apply when the customer requests pickup on time and pickup is delayed solely by DUMPT LLC. Early pickup does not reduce the rental price or create a refund.

3. Weight Allowance and Overage

The included weight depends on the selected dumpster size. Weight exceeding the included allowance is charged at $0.21 per pound, prorated according to the disposal facility’s certified scale weight.

For example, 500 pounds over the allowance would result in an additional charge of $105.

Customers may request documentation showing the applicable disposal weight. Weight charges are based on scale weight, not how full the dumpster appears.

4. Special-Handling Items

The following items must be disclosed and approved before being placed in or collected with the dumpster:

  • Mattresses and box springs

  • Tires

  • Televisions and computer monitors

  • Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners

  • Washers, dryers and other large appliances

  • Other items requiring separate recycling or disposal

Approved special-handling items are charged $50 to $175 per item, depending on the item and its disposal requirements. These charges are separate from weight-overage charges.

DUMPT LLC may reject contaminated, unsafe or undisclosed special-handling items.

5. Prohibited Materials

The following materials may not be placed in the dumpster:

  • Paint, oil, gasoline, fuel or other liquids

  • Chemicals, solvents or hazardous waste

  • Asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing material

  • Propane tanks or pressurized cylinders

  • Lead-acid or lithium batteries

  • Medical or infectious waste

  • Explosives, ammunition or radioactive materials

  • Hot ashes, burning material or smoldering debris

  • Any material prohibited by law or rejected by the disposal facility

Concrete, dirt, stone, brick, asphalt, clean gypsum wallboard, large roofing loads and other dense or regulated materials require advance approval and may require separate pricing or a dedicated container.

When uncertain about an item, the customer must contact DUMPT LLC before placing it in the dumpster.

6. Loading Requirements

All material must:

  • Remain below the dumpster’s top rail

  • Be distributed as evenly as reasonably possible

  • Remain completely inside the dumpster

  • Allow the dumpster door to close and latch securely

Items may not extend above the top or hang over the sides.

DUMPT LLC may refuse to transport an overloaded, unbalanced, unsafe or improperly loaded dumpster. The customer must correct the load before pickup.

If the driver cannot complete service and must return because of overloading, unsafe loading or prohibited materials, a $150 failed-service fee applies.

7. Delivery Location and Access

The customer confirms that they own the property or have permission to place the dumpster at the requested location.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Selecting an appropriate placement location

  • Obtaining any required street or placement permit

  • Providing sufficient truck access

  • Clearing vehicles, gates, equipment, snow, low branches and overhead wires

  • Disclosing steep slopes, weak pavement, septic systems, underground utilities or other hazards

The placement area must be firm, reasonably level and capable of supporting the truck and loaded dumpster.

A failed delivery, blocked pickup or unnecessary return trip caused by inadequate access, unsafe conditions or customer obstruction is subject to a $150 service-trip fee.

8. Driveways and Property

DUMPT LLC will use reasonable care during delivery and pickup. However, dumpsters and delivery vehicles are heavy and may mark, crack, settle or otherwise affect asphalt, concrete, gravel, lawns and other surfaces.

The customer selects and approves the placement location and accepts the ordinary risks associated with placing heavy equipment there. This does not excuse damage caused by DUMPT LLC’s negligence.

The customer must not move the dumpster after delivery without written permission from DUMPT LLC.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery are eligible for a refund.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery or after the truck has been dispatched are subject to a $150 cancellation fee.

Once the dumpster has been delivered, the rental is nonrefundable. Early pickup, unused dumpster capacity and changes to the customer’s project do not create a refund.

If DUMPT LLC cannot provide the rental and cannot offer an acceptable alternative date, the customer will receive a refund of amounts paid for the unavailable service.

10. Exchanges and Additional Dumpsters

Removing a loaded dumpster and delivering an empty replacement is considered a new rental and will be charged at the applicable rental rate unless DUMPT LLC provides a different written quote.

An exchange is subject to availability, safe access and compliance with these terms.

11. Additional Charges and Payment

The customer is responsible for all additional charges resulting from:

  • Weight exceeding the included allowance

  • Rental extensions

  • Approved or undisclosed special-handling items

  • Failed deliveries or blocked pickups

  • Unsafe or overloaded-container return trips

  • Prohibited-material handling

  • Customer-caused damage or misuse of DUMPT LLC equipment

  • Other charges disclosed and approved as part of the order

If no payment method has been separately authorized and stored, DUMPT LLC will issue an invoice for verified additional charges. These invoices are due upon receipt.

If the customer separately authorizes a payment method to be stored, the customer authorizes DUMPT LLC to charge that payment method for verified charges permitted by these terms. DUMPT LLC will provide an itemized invoice or receipt explaining the charge.

12. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for the dumpster and its contents from delivery until pickup.

The customer may not:

  • Move or alter the dumpster

  • Burn anything inside it

  • Allow unauthorized dumping

  • Use it for an unlawful purpose

  • Damage, paint or attach items to it

  • Permit children to play in or around it

The customer is responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs resulting from misuse, vandalism or damage occurring while the dumpster is under the customer’s control.

13. Scheduling and Delays

Delivery and pickup times are estimates unless DUMPT LLC confirms a specific written appointment.

Weather, traffic, equipment problems, disposal-facility delays and other conditions outside DUMPT LLC’s reasonable control may affect scheduling. DUMPT LLC will communicate material delays and make reasonable efforts to complete service promptly.

14. Acceptance of Terms

The customer acknowledges having the opportunity to review these terms before completing payment.

The checkout confirmation, applicable written quote and these Rental Terms form the agreement between the customer and DUMPT LLC. The version of these terms available when the customer places the order applies to that rental.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
